FAQ

  • When is the best time to hire an interior designer?

Ideally, bring a designer on board before you start any renovations or make major purchases. Why?

Because early involvement allows us to plan layouts, lighting, and installations in a smart, cost-saving way — and avoid expensive mistakes later.

Even if you haven’t bought the property yet, it’s worth having a quick chat. Sometimes one good look is all it takes to assess the potential of a space — or catch something that might become a problem.

  • I live abroad and can’t be on site. Can we work remotely?

Absolutely — and that’s exactly how I work with most of my clients. Many live outside the Canary Islands, so I’ve designed a clear and flexible process to handle everything remotely. You’ll have access to every stage of the project, while I’m here locally — your eyes and hands on the ground.

  • How long does the design process take?

That depends on what we’re creating. A simple concept — like a layout and moodboard — usually takes 2–3 weeks. A full interior design project with 3D visuals, technical drawings and a shopping list takes about 4–8 weeks.

In a rush? Let me know. I always try to adapt the pace to your schedule — without compromising quality.

  • I’ve bought a property in Tenerife but already have a designer back home. Why should I work with someone local?

A great question — and one I hear often. I totally get it: someone you know and trust already worked with a designer. They know your taste, and maybe they even offer a lower rate. But… island life is different.

Canary Islands interior design comes with its own set of rules: different materials, different work rhythms, different logistics. I’m based here — I know the systems, the delays, the gaps. I can flag what won’t work, offer local solutions, and bridge the gap between you and your future space.

I’m not just here for the pretty part. I’m here for the tricky bits too — the chaotic deliveries, the slow contractors, the unpredictable "mañana" culture — and I help you navigate it all.

  • I don’t see a price list… does that mean it’s going to be expensive?

Good eye! I don’t have a fixed price per square meter — because no two projects are the same. Every space has its own story: different needs, levels of complexity, amount of detail, and timing.

Instead of fitting you into a pricing chart, I take a personal approach. That’s why I offer a free 20-minute consultation. After that, I can prepare a tailored quote based on your vision, your goals, and your timeline. Clear. Pressure-free. Budget-aware.

  • What exactly will I get if I decide to work with you?

Every project starts with a conversation — because every client has different needs. Once we define your goals, I propose a custom package that fits your space, lifestyle, and budget.

Your design package can include: functional layout planning; moodboard and interior style direction; 3D visualizations; technical drawings for contractors; shopping list with local and online sources; project support during execution (optional)

You’re involved at every key stage. I guide the process, and you give feedback — so we shape your space together, step by step.
